How to Be More Confident

“Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” ~ e.e. cummings

Do you need a boost in your self-confidence? There are many factors that can be associated with a lack of confidence (one of my absolute favorite books is May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein), but there are some things you can do consciously to become more confident.

  • Gratitude ~ express it! Get a journal and every night write 10 things you are thankful for. It is amazing how much better you feel when you focus on all the blessing in your life
  • Practice good posture ~ you will make a positive impression on others and yourself if you sit up straight
  • Focus on others ~ when you get stuck in your head, get out there and do something for someone else. You would be surprised how much better you feel about yourself when you have made someone else happy.
What are some things you do to boost your confidence?

Tips on Removing Pet Hair

Image by thedangler
There is something magical about the relationship people have with their pets. However much you love your pets, the pet hair the leave behind is another matter. Keep your home hair free with some great tips ranging from using a sponge to remove hair to removing dog hair with a latex glove. One of my favorite methods of getting pet hair out of furniture is using a squeegee – a trick that really does work.

If you have wood floors, someone from our team highly recommends the Swiffer sweepervac—a must in her house of two dogs.

Share your pet removal tips with us on here and on Facebook.

Did you know people with clear goals, which includes writing them down and creating an action plan, are far more likely to accomplishing them in a shorter time period than people who do not? Plus people with goals are more successful than those without any goals—

When setting goals, think of the acronym SMART for both your business and personal objectives:

S = Specific
M = Measurable
A = Achievable
R = Relevant
T = Time-bounded

Another great technique to improve on is your time management which helps to propel you to reach your goals and grow your business.

Explore the Back Country with Snowshoeing

http://www.wta.org/hiking-info/basics/winter-recreation-guide-1/snowshoeing-101

The weekend is here! Are you looking for something exciting to do? Snowshoeing is a lot of fun and cheap way to entertain the entire family. There are various trails around Utah for pros and beginners alike.

So get outside and explore some of the back country. With the different terrains and areas to check out you will certainly not be bored as you “float” across the freshly fallen snow. As they say if you can walk, you can snowshoe.

Remember to stay aware of your surroundings, especially in the back country, and take the necessary precautions to stay safe. For the current forecast on avalanches check out www.avalance.org
